Cameron Laird's personal notes on RFID

The fundamental fact about RFID is this: it binds the digital and physical worlds cost-effectively like no alternative. In a time of BigData [reference], compliance [ref.], "Web 2.0", ..., processes remain hamstrung by all the dirt and delays in on-line data [ref.]. RFID radically improves the link between digital traces and the physical realities they should represent.
