The standard references on the Erlang computing language, including: In February 2002, our own breezy introduction, "Erlang is worth a look", emphasized the language's software engineering and abilities to distribute calculations.

As much as I like and respect the rather academically-oriented traditional works on Erlang, I'm planning on putting together in spring and summer 2002 my own notes on "Erlang for the Working Programmer". Watch this space for updates.
