Cameron Laird's personal notes on WebDAV
WebDAV is a
protocol
which extends
HTTP
with the aim of achieving
Tim Berners-Lee's
original
image of the Web as deeply collaborative. It mediates not just
document retrievals, as HTTP does so well, but also updates.
I admire the work
Greg Stein does with
WebDAV Resources.
An
article we did on
Zope includes
a compact introduction to WebDAV.
I like Microsoft's
published
interview with Jim Whitehead, who chairs the
IETF
WebDAV
Working Group.
