Cameron Laird's personal notes on EMACS

I don't often use EMACS myself. As a way of life, I appreciate there are many advantages to it, but initial investment in moving to a new host--which I do constantly--deters me. Also, I've been forced into so much system administration over the years that I have the typical SysAd's wariness of anything that can't work with a missing termcap.

I do often help others set up EMACS. Among the references on which I rely:
